Topics covered include understanding conflict, how disputes are resolved, the dynamics of power, working with diversity, developing trust, dealing with implicit bias, skills for managing high emotion, de-escalation, and resolving disputes by inclusive engagement and authentic communication.
This workshop will be of interest to PSS investigators, respectful workplace practitioners, community liaison officers, HR and LR professionals, supervisors, and anyone interested in improving their ability to resolve disputes informally and without the need for lengthy formal investigation processes.
